Hey there! I’m Dan 🙂
I’m a freelance software developer. I specialize in full-stack Web Development, with a focus on back-end. My expertise is with WordPress and WooCommerce, and I have years of experience in eCommerce with digital and physical goods. Though my expertise and preference lie with WordPress, I also have BigCommerce and Shopify experience.
Other technologies that I work with in various capacities include: PHP, Go, MySQL, JavaScript, Java, C#, Laravel, jQuery, Vue, React, and NodeJS.
This website is my personal blog, a home for my personal projects, a way for you to get to know a little about me, and a way for you to get in touch with me. I built and curate this website, and I refuse to write about myself in the third person.
For Fun
When I am not at work, I work on independent video games, mostly working with Unity C# and the Playdate, and I like to learn about how retro games were made. In addition to developing software, I write and play music and I performed magic and sideshow for a number of years. I have performed on a number of US tours, as well as at music festivals, I was even on the same bill as thrash pioneers DRI.
When I’m not programming or performing, I enjoy video & tabletop games, cooking, writing, reading, and philosophy.
